What the wagering comparison stores
The homepage wagering comparison works with the numbers currently entered in the browser. It does not use cookies or localStorage to retain those values between visits. When the page is opened again, the comparison begins with its example inputs rather than the reader’s previous figures.
This distinction matters for understanding a calculation: an example deposit or illustrative loss percentage is part of an on-screen scenario, not a saved transaction or a record of gambling behaviour.
Browser controls remain available
Browsers provide settings for viewing or clearing site data. A reader can use those controls when reviewing stored browser information more broadly. The privacy approach explains how the local comparison treats entered values and notes that ordinary hosting requests may have their own server-log handling.
Winshark Field Guide’s editorial purpose is to explain casino terms and financial risk, separate from the login, cookies or account settings of an operator’s own service.
